Hospice & Community Care Campus
The Hospice & Community Care campus includes office space for administrative staff, a chapel for special events, and a community building for use by local organizations, all surrounded by gardens.

Situated on 10 acres off India Hook Road in Rock Hill, SC, (> view a location map) the site for Hospice & Community Care's campus provides a blend of convenience and serenity. The location allows easy access to major transportation routes and other health care facilities. The acreage lends buffer from surrounding activity and the maintenance of natural spaces.
The campus includes the 16 bed Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, community building, and Bott Chapel as well as garden spaces. It is the result of over eight years of planning and is consistent with our mission to serve the hospice and end-of-life care needs of York, Chester, Lancaster, Cherokee, Fairfield and Union Counties. The components of the Hospice Campus offer the very best in physical, social, emotional and spiritual care for people with terminal illness, and their families.
Community Building
The community building on the Hospice Campus continues the strong
bond between Hospice & Community Care and the communities we serve.
This part of the campus will house administrative space for staff and
operations of the organization and community-based services. Joining
these services with the Patrick Hospice House promotes administrative
efficiency and effective service to those in need.
The community building features areas designed both for use in Hospice-sponsored
activities and for use by members of the community.
The Piedmont Medical Center Community Room is a multi-purpose meeting room that accommodates up to 100 people and will be available for use by community groups and organizations. Smaller meeting rooms are available for public use and will be utilized by Hospice & Community Care for support groups, educational and special events as well as volunteer training.
The Junior Welfare League Children’s Room houses a children’s grief library and counseling center, media center, arts and music area and play areas.
The Founder's Federal Credit Union Library features the most comprehensive collection of resources on grief and loss in the community. These facilities allow Hospice & Community Care to continue providing the comprehensive, compassionate care that we have provided to our community for over twenty years.
Progress
Since
fall 2002, there has been a much activity and progression
towards the goal of a hospice house for our community. Construction is underway and below you can view images of the progress.
