The Patrick House and Hospice & Community Care Campus has several areas for families to enjoy while visiting loved ones:
Family Room & Kitchen - The Family Room and Kitchen offer family members a place to rest and relax and also enjoy refreshments. The kitchen is stocked with light snacks and beverages as well as fresh baked cookies and a variety of teas and coffee.
Children's Area - The Children's Area provides a retreat for children visiting the Patrick House. The area is stocked with books, games and DVDs for children.
Sunroom - The sunroom offers yet another place for family and friends to gather while visiting loved ones in the Patrick House. The sunroom overlooks the children's garden and a welcoming patio beckons visitors to enjoy sunny days outside.
Meditation Room - Surrounded by windows that overlook the gardens the meditation room offers a place for family and friends to take a break and reflect in a quite and peaceful room.
Hospice Art Collection - The Patrick House and Hospice Campus is filled with over 60 pieces of original artwork from local and regional artists. A book with a walking tour of the art collection is available at the Patrick House reception desk or the reception desk in the community building.
Gardens - The Patrick House is surrounded by therapeutic healing gardens for patients, families and visitors. Many gardens can be accessed from patient rooms through the french doors. The gardens are filled with vibrant colors and textures all chosen for their therapeutic qualities.
Sanctuary - The Marie Bott Sanctuary is located in the heart of campus and offers a place for quite prayer and reflection. It is also available for memorial services for any patient.
Community Building - The community building houses all of Hospice & Community Care's clinical staff for patients in their homes as well as the administrative staff. The community building also features a large community room for lectures, community events and education offerings. A children's therapy room is also housed in the community building along with the children's art gallery.
The Potting Shed - The Potting Shed is Hospice & Community Care's own gift shop. Open Monday - Friday 10am-4pm the Potting Shed has a variety of items for sale including Hospice's own line of note cards. Visitors to campus are welcome and encouraged to visit the Potting Shed.
