Neither hastening nor postponing the process of dying, Hospice strives to bring quality of life and comfort to patients and their families.

Dr. Jeff Seymore and Dr. Amy Robbins are experts in pain management. After years of practicing medicine in traditional settings they have chosen to care for hospice patients full time. With a team of palliative care experts on staff, Hospice & Community Care offers:

  • Two full-time physicians board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management, as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine

  • Physicians who will make house calls to manage out-patient pain and symptom needsĀ 

  • Physicians who are experts in certification and criteria issues related to the Medicare Hospice Benefit

  • Physicians who provide assistance and consultation to other physicians to help determine hospice appropriateness in an individual situation

  • 15 R.N.s that are part of a nursing staff with over 150 years of combined experience

  • Over 400 volunteers and services to provide comfort to patients with limited life expectancy, regardless of the setting they are in

  • The Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House to comfort qualified patients

  • Hospice & Community Care physicians also serve as the attending physician for patients admitted to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House

  • One of the few hospices in the region to have two Hospice & Palliative Medicine certified physicians
